# Connect a custom domain to your blog

> Verify ownership and route a custom subdomain or an existing website’s blog path to your publication using the records supplied in Blog Settings.

Connect a custom address from Blog Settings to publish under your organization’s own domain. Use the connection values generated for your workspace.

Each paid workspace can connect **one custom address**: a subdomain such as `blog.company.com`, or your existing website’s `company.com/blog` path. Your free address redirects only after the custom address is verified and active.

1. Open **Blog Settings → Configurations → Custom Domain**.
2. Select the address type and enter the hostname only. For the path option, enter `company.com`; the form supplies `/blog`. Do not enter a protocol, slash, port or query string.
3. Add the exact TXT verification name/value shown in the dialog at your DNS provider.
4. For a subdomain, add the CNAME shown in the dialog. Complete any additional ownership or certificate records the form requests.
5. For the path option, follow the [Cloudflare Worker instructions](https://docs.truhuddle.com/domains/cloudflare-worker.md).
6. Click **Check connection**. Activation requires ownership, correct routing and working HTTPS. DNS and certificate updates can take time; check again after they propagate.

Use the values generated for your workspace. Another workspace’s TXT token or proxy key will not verify your address. Disconnect an existing address before adding a replacement. Expired or suspended subscriptions pause the public site.
